The SNAN: missions, governance, membership
The purposes of the SNAN are:

The representation of the profession with public authorities (national and foreign),
​

The representation of the profession with third parties, in particular with other groups, associations, unions and professionals,
​

The study and defense of the corporate interests of ship suppliers,
​
-
The study and dissemination of information concerning markets of interest to the profession,
​
-
To strengthen the bond of brotherhood between the members,
​
-
To bring together serious professionals who deserve the respect and trust of shipowners,
​
-
The development of partnerships with a view to promoting its activities.
​
-
And more generally, the study of all matters of interest to the profession.

Governance
Since 2000, the union has been chaired by Mr. Eric BARAT, also President of the company SGAE Ship Supply. The latter took over from Mr. Georges GARGUILO, who chaired the SNAN from 1978 to 2000.

The Syndicate's Board of Directors is renewed every two years.

Terms of membership:
In any event, membership must fill specific conditions.

It must be requested to the President and be the subject of a decision taken in the General Assembly by a two-thirds majority of the Members present or represented.
